We Believe Sustainability Should Be Accessible to Every Business.
Terrivis Advisory was founded on a simple idea: that the technical rigour large firms provide to enterprise clients should be available to the small and mid-sized businesses that make up the backbone of Alberta’s economy, and at a price they can actually afford.
Our Story
Why We Started Terrivis
in energy and emissions projects
Alberta’s small and mid-sized businesses face growing pressure from customers, lenders, and governments to demonstrate credible sustainability performance. But most sustainability consultancies are built for large corporations. Their pricing, their timelines, and their deliverables are calibrated for enterprise clients.
Terrivis was built to close that gap. We are an Edmonton-based boutique consultancy staffed by licensed engineers and technical sustainability specialists who have collectively managed over $12 million in energy and emissions projects. We are small enough to be responsive and cost-effective, and credentialed enough to produce work that holds up to regulatory and investor scrutiny.
We also noticed something most firms miss:technical sustainability work and sustainability communications are almost always handled separately. Businesses complete a GHG inventory with one firm, then hire an agency to write about it. We bundle both capabilities under one roof, so the story you tell about your sustainability performance is grounded in real, verified data.

How We Work
Measure
We start with the numbers. A defensible GHG inventory or energy assessment forms the foundation of everything.
Reduce
We identify the highest-impact reduction opportunities and build a realistic roadmap your team can execute.
Report
We translate your data into clear, stakeholder-ready ESG disclosures and sustainability reports.
Communicate
We help you tell your sustainability story through marketing, content, and green communications that build trust.
Our Values
Rigour
We are engineers. We do not estimate when we can measure, and we do not report what we cannot defend.
Accessibility
Sustainability expertise should not be reserved for companies with large budgets. We price our services to be accessible to SMEs.
Integration
Technical and communications work are stronger together. We deliver both.
Transparency
We will always tell you what the data says, even when it is inconvenient.
Credentials That Matter
Our team brings licensed engineering expertise and internationally recognized sustainability credentials, so you can be confident your data, reports, and strategies will hold up to scrutiny.
